And We Built a City Together

Hosted at the RISD Museum of Art, And We Built a City Together asked participants to consider their home in the city. Given a goodie bag of stickers and a cardboard building template, visitors to the installation created building collages, tailoring the stickers to their hopes and memories. The building templates had a ticker tape of paper attached, upon which the buildings were given a voice in the form of text, which stretched from the building sited in the cardboard landscape up to a grid of strings above.
